Crianças e adolescentes de Nova Serrana tiveram, na manhã desta terça-feira (27), atividades, entretenimento e educação na campanha “Maio Laranja”, promovida pelo Governo de Minas, através da Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social — Sedese. As ações na cidade contaram com a mobilização do vereador Adilson Pacheco, através da deputada estadual e secretária de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social, Alê Portela, além de apoiadores locais e equipe da Sedese. Alunos da E.E. Major Agenor Lopes Cançado participaram da ação ocorrida no auditório Romeu Coelho, da Sicoob Credinova.
Em toda Minas Gerais, a iniciativa tem contribuído para a prevenção de novos casos de violência sexual e o fortalecimento da rede de proteção. A caravana faz parte de uma série de ações no mês dedicado à conscientização sobre violência sexual promovida pela Sedese. “Proteger nossas crianças e adolescentes é uma responsabilidade de todos e um compromisso do Governo de Minas. Com esta campanha, queremos conscientizar, mas também capacitar profissionais e cidadãos para identificar e denunciar casos de abuso sexual”, ressalta a secretária de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social, Alê Portela.
Para denunciar casos de violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes, a população pode utilizar o Disque 100, que funciona 24 horas por dia, ou ainda pelos telefones 190, ou 181 Disque Denúncia.
