O novo Cartão Nacional de Saúde (CNS), a partir de agora, passa a exibir nome e CPF no lugar do antigo número. A mudança foi anunciada nesta terça-feira (16) pelos ministérios da Saúde e da Gestão e Inovação em Serviços Públicos (MGI).
A previsão é que 111 milhões de cadastros sejam inativados até abril de 2026 – desde julho, 54 milhões já foram suspensos. Em entrevista coletiva, o ministro da Saúde, Alexandre Padilha, destacou que pacientes sem CPF continuam sendo atendidos normalmente pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). “Não estamos deixando ninguém para trás. As pessoas que não têm CPF ainda vão continuar a ser atendidas”, disse.
Higienização
Para tornar a unificação possível, a pasta iniciou uma espécie de limpeza da base de cadastros de usuários do SUS, conhecida como CadSUS. Desde então, os registros passaram de 340 milhões para 286,8 milhões de cadastros ativos.
Desse total, 246 milhões já estão vinculadas ao CPF, enquanto 40,8 milhões permanecem sem CPF, em fase de análise para inativação. O processo de higienização, de acordo com o ministério, alcança ainda cadastros inconsistentes ou duplicados.
Integração
A estimativa do governo é que 11 milhões de registros sejam inativados todos os meses, totalizando 111 milhões até abril de 2026. A meta é que, ao final da ação, a base de cadastros de usuários do SUS seja equivalente ao total de CPFs ativos na Receita Federal: 228,9 milhões.
O avanço, segundo o ministério, foi possível graças à interoperabilidade do CadSUS e da base de dados da Receita Federal, utilizando o CPF como identificador único do cidadão e viabilizando acesso a dados como histórico de vacinas e medicamentos garantidos no programa Farmácia Popular.
Usuários sem CPF
Em nota, a pasta informou ter estabelecido um cadastro temporário para cidadãos atendidos no SUS sem CPF, válido por um ano. A medida, de acordo com o comunicado, atende a situações em que a pessoa não consegue informar o CPF no momento do atendimento, como em casos de emergência. “Após a alta ou regularização, é necessária a prova de vida e a inclusão do CPF”, destacou o ministério.
