O Programa Celular Seguro já recebeu 30 mil alertas de bloqueios de celulares por perda, roubo ou furto desde dezembro do ano passado, quando foi criado pelo Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública. O número foi divulgado pela pasta nesta terça-feira (12).
Até o momento, mais de 1,7 milhão de usuários cadastraram 1,3 milhão de celulares. Os aparelhos podem ser registrados por site celularseguro.mj.gov.br (CLIQUE AQUI) ou aplicativo (Play Store e App Store).
Para pedir o bloqueio do celular, o usuário deve acionar o “botão de emergência”. Após o envio do alerta, os bancos e instituições financeiras, que aderiram ao projeto, fazem o bloqueio das contas.
“A ação garante o bloqueio ágil do aparelho, mas, por questões de segurança, não permite a reversão do processo. Caso o usuário emita um alerta de perda, furto ou roubo, mas recupere o telefone em seguida, deverá solicitar os acessos através do contato com a operadora, bancos e outros. Cada empresa segue um rito diferente para a recuperação dos aparelhos e das contas em aplicativos. Os detalhes estão descritos nos termos de uso do Celular Seguro”, explica o ministério.
O usuário pode ainda indicar uma pessoa de confiança, que fica autorizada a solicitar o bloqueio do aparelho. A própria vítima pode fazer o bloqueio também acessando o site por um computador. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
