A Cemig vem, mais uma vez, alertar a população sobre os riscos de construir moradias sob as faixas de segurança das linhas de transmissão e distribuição de energia da companhia. Além de crime, a prática representa risco, pois quem se aproxima das faixas de segurança pode sofrer choque elétrico, em muitos casos de consequência fatal.
“Faixa de segurança” é o espaço de terra que existe embaixo das linhas de distribuição e transmissão de energia da Cemig. Elas são necessárias para garantir a segurança das instalações da companhia e de terceiros, assim como o bom desempenho das linhas, além de permitir ações de inspeção e manutenção. As faixas de segurança são definidas de acordo com critérios estabelecidos na NBR 5422, na NBR 12304, na Lei 11934 de 5/5/2009 e na Resolução n.º 442 da ANATEL de 21/7/2006.
Segundo Adieliton Galvão Freitas, gerente de Sustentabilidade da Cemig, “utilizar esses trechos para construção de moradias – inclusive benfeitorias agregadas como terraço, entrada de garagem, quintal e similares – ou para qualquer outro fim é proibido por lei, mas as restrições não abrangem somente a construção de imóveis. Subir nas torres ou jogar água nos fios, nem pensar”, alerta.
– Segurança
Linhas aéreas de alta tensão estão energizadas entre 34,5 mil Volts e 700 mil Volts. Portanto, quem invade as faixas de segurança da Cemig está seriamente submetido a risco de choques elétricos severos, que podem causar a perda de membros, danos neurológicos e até a morte.
Também podem ocorrer episódios de incêndio, queda de cabo condutor sobre as invasões e os invasores, além da destruição de construções nestes trechos proibidos. “Esses danos geralmente estão associados à aproximação de pessoas ou de suas construções dos cabos energizados; ao rompimento dos sistemas de aterramento, devido a escavações próximas das estruturas e ao longo da faixa de segurança; ligações clandestinas das derivações das redes de distribuição regulares existentes próximas a essas invasões e ao rompimento de conexões com a consequente queda dos cabos energizados”, comenta Freitas.
“Podem ocorrer, ainda, casos de queda de estruturas e rompimento de cabos, geralmente relacionados a condições naturais como ventos, tempestades, descargas atmosféricas e queda de árvores; colisões por veículos; vandalismo e focos de queimada nas estruturas de madeira. Em todos os casos, quem invade as faixas de segurança corre risco de se acidentar”, completa o gerente.
– Impactos no sistema elétrico
Acidentes causados por invasão das faixas de segurança também podem trazer impactos para a rede elétrica relacionados à operação e manutenção das linhas da Cemig, causando transtornos aos clientes da companhia.
Em caso de ocorrências relacionadas a invasões das faixas de segurança, pode haver impossibilidade de religamento imediato, em razão da necessidade de inspeção nas áreas invadidas. Também pode ocorrer restrição da capacidade operativa da linha devido à possibilidade de o cabo condutor atingir sua altura mínima em relação aos obstáculos, aproximando-se das invasões.
Ocorrências nesse sentido podem levar ao aumento do tempo de restabelecimento do sistema elétrico local, acarretando descontinuidade da prestação do fornecimento de energia para o consumidor, devido à necessidade de patrulhamento das áreas invadidas da linha, além do risco de queda de estruturas e cabos, podendo causar falta de energia em diversos locais.
