O Governo de Minas Gerais, por meio da Cemig, concluiu as obras de alta tensão para ampliação da Subestação Nova Serrana 1, na região Oeste de Minas Gerais. A companhia investiu cerca R$ 4 milhões na instalação, que terá uma oferta adicional de energia de 25 MVA, e irá beneficiar cerca de 160 mil pessoas das cidades de Nova Serrana, Pitangui, Papagaios, Leandro Ferreira e Bom Despacho.
Além da ampliação da subestação Nova Serrana 1, a Cemig está investindo cerca de R$ 40 milhões na construção da subestação Nova Serrana 2 e nova linha de distribuição de 138kV , que vai incrementar 50 MVA e irá proporcionar ainda mais qualidade e segurança no fornecimento de energia na região. As obras dessa nova instalação tem previsão de conclusão em fevereiro de 2022.
As melhorias na Subestação Nova Serrana 1 são fundamentais para a região, pois otimizam significativamente os níveis de tensão e possibilitam novos empreendimentos, garantindo a qualidade do fornecimento e a oferta do serviço de eletricidade para a cidade e municípios próximos. “Essas novas entregas tornam o sistema elétrico mais seguro.
