A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana realiza entre os dias 1º de setembro e 2 de outubro a Campanha de Vacinação Antirrábica de 2025. O objetivo é proteger cães e gatos contra a raiva, doença grave que também pode ser transmitida aos seres humanos.
Na zona rural, a imunização seguirá o cronograma itinerante entre 1º de setembro e 2 de outubro. Já na zona urbana, o grande mutirão acontece no Dia D, marcado para 4 de outubro, com postos fixos espalhados por toda a cidade conforme cronograma divulgado na tabela anexa.
Orientações importantes aos tutores:
● Devem ser vacinados cães e gatos a partir dos 3 meses de idade, inclusive animais idosos, fêmeas prenhas, paridas ou amamentando.
● Para segurança de todos, cães devem ser conduzidos com coleira e guia, e cães bravos precisam usar focinheira.
● Os gatos devem ser transportados em caixas adequadas.
● Leve a carteirinha de vacinação do animal, se tiver.
● Para evitar acidentes, recomenda-se que crianças e idosos não sejam responsáveis por levar os animais aos postos.
