A Escola Municipal Tânia Aparecida Carvalho Saldanha foi palco da COMEC – etapa Municipal da Conferência Estadual De Educação. O evento foi realizado nos dias 25 e 27 de novembro de 2021.
A Conferência de Educação tem como objetivo mobilizar a população local para intensificar o monitoramento e avaliação do cumprimento do Plano Municipal de Educação (PME), suas metas e estratégias, além de propor emendas ao Plano Estadual de Educação (PEE), com vistas à melhoria na política municipal, estadual e nacional, bem como responsabilidades, corresponsabilidades, atribuições entre os entes federativos, de forma a garantir condições de oferta de uma educação com qualidade.
Na quinta-feira aconteceu a abertura solene, que foi marcada pela peça: “A Magia do Circo” – apresentada pelos alunos da Escola Fausto Pinto da Fonseca – APAE de Nova Serrana. Logo após, iniciou-se a leitura e aprovação do Regimento interno, onde foi apresentada a temática da Conferência: Plano Estadual de Educação: Inclusão, Equidade e Qualidade Social: Compromisso com o direito e a defesa da educação democrática gratuita, inclusiva, laica, popular, pública, presencial com segurança para todas as pessoas.
Durante o evento, destacou-se a evolução das políticas públicas de 2018 a 2021 e o monitoramento do Plano Municipal de Educação – PME com apresentação clara das metas, objetivos alcançados e o que deve ser feito para que se possa garantir o cumprimento do plano e fortalecer ações futuras para a educação.
No, sábado, segundo dia do evento, os conferencistas foram distribuídos em seus grupos de trabalho, nos quais discutiram os sete eixos temáticos do Plano Estadual de Educação e levantaram emendas para as estratégias das 18 metas estabelecidas no PEE, visando garantir a educação de qualidade, assegurar o acesso à universalização do ensino e a ampliação de oportunidades educacionais, além da redução das desigualdades e a valorização dos profissionais da educação. As metas também relatam previsões de cumprimento para assuntos importantes na educação como a erradicação do analfabetismo, universalização do atendimento escolar, manutenção e desenvolvimento do ensino fundamental, da educação Infantil e da educação inclusiva, valorização dos profissionais de educação e fortalecimento da gestão democrática da educação.
Na plenária final foram eleitos oito delegados que apresentarão as demandas levantadas na Conferência Territorial, que deve acontecer em Itaúna/MG, em fevereiro de 2022.
