A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) aprovou hoje (29) o reajuste na bandeira tarifária vermelha patamar 2 – cobrança adicional aplicada às contas de luz realizada quando aumenta o custo de produção de energia. A cobrança extra passou de R$ 6,24 para R$ 9,49 a cada 100 kWh consumidos – alta de 52%.
Ontem (28) o ministro de Minas e Energia, Bento Albuquerque, fez um pronunciamento na televisão em que afirmou que o país passa por um momento de crise hídrica e pediu uso “consciente e responsável” de água e energia por parte da população. O Brasil vive a pior crise hídrica dos últimos 91 anos.
O reajuste contrariou a área técnica da agência, que recomendou uma alta de R$ 11,50 a cada 100 kWh consumidos, de forma a equilibrar a alta de custo da geração de energia.
O novo valor entra em vigor a partir de julho. O último reajuste do sistema de bandeiras tarifárias foi feito em 2019.
Os diretores da Aneel também decidiram abrir uma consulta pública para discutir mudanças na metodologia de cálculo das bandeiras tarifárias. Por isso, as demais bandeiras (amarela e vermelha patamar 1) não foram reajustadas hoje (29) e devem ganhar novos valores em agosto.
A previsão é a de que a bandeira vermelha patamar 2 vigore, no mínimo, entre os meses de julho e novembro de 2021. Os reservatórios das hidrelétricas do Sudeste e Centro-Oeste – que respondem por 70% da capacidade de geração de energia do país – estão com 29,4% da capacidade de armazenamento, e não há perspectiva de chuva forte nessas regiões até meados de outubro.
