Desde a última sexta (3), diversos consumidores da Copasa em Nova Serrana reclamam dificuldades no abastecimento de água. Notas, inclusive com erro de data, foram divulgadas no final de semana justificando a situação. O problema atingiu principalmente os bairros São Geraldo, Santa Cruz e Cidade Nova. No entanto, nas redes sociais do Jornal Gazeta de Nova Serrana, foram registradas reclamações de moradores de outras regiões da cidade.
Para piorar a situação, nesta segunda (5), em mais uma nota, foi informado que “no último domingo (5), ocorreu um vazamento em uma tubulação de alta pressão interna da elevatória principal de água de Nova Serrana, o que prejudicou o abastecimento de toda a cidade”. Continua o informe, “foram atingidos os motores e quadros elétricos de bombeamento da Estação de Tratamento de Água (ETA) do Rio Pará. Houve curto-circuito em parte do sistema elétrico da ETA e, imediatamente, a pressão da água foi reduzida. Equipes da Copasa foram mobilizadas e trabalharam durante toda a noite de domingo e madrugada desta segunda-feira (6) para restabelecer o abastecimento da cidade”, afirma a empresa.
Concluindo, a concessionária informou ainda que “o vazamento foi corrigido e as equipes permanecem trabalhando para substituir as peças danificadas da elevatória e do sistema o mais rápido possível. Os motores já retomaram a operação na manhã desta segunda-feira (6) e o sistema opera em carga total, o que deve agilizar a normalização o abastecimento. A normalização do sistema por completo deve ocorrer durante a madrugada desta terça-feira (7)”.
