O desfile da “Carreata de Natal”, realizada no último sábado (19) pelas ruas de Nova Serrana, marcou o início das atividades do Festival de Natal, que acontece até o dia 4 de dezembro no Centro de Convenções.
Uma carreta com iluminação especial de Natal percorreu ruas em diversos bairros da cidade. Começando pelo bairro Planalto, o desfile passou também pelo centro e terminou o trajeto no Centro de Convenções, onde aconteceu a apresentação da Banda de Música José Viriato Bahia Mascarenhas, da cidade de Pitangui.
O Festival de Natal de Nova Serrana contará também com contação de história, apresentações musicais, teatrais e de dança, realizadas pelos alunos da Casa de Cultura, além de um domingo de lazer para as crianças.
