    DÓLAR CAI PARA R$ 4,73 E FECHA NO MENOR VALOR EM 15 MESES

    Influenciado pelo mercado externo, o dólar aproximou-se de R$ 4,70 e fechou no menor valor em 15 meses. A bolsa de valores teve a terceira alta consecutiva e superou os 121 mil pontos. O dólar comercial encerrou a segunda (24) vendido a R$ 4,733, com queda de R$ 0,047 (-0,99%). A cotação chegou a operar em alta no início do dia, mas passou a despencar após a abertura dos mercados norte-americanos. Na mínima do dia, por volta das 12h30, chegou a R$ 4,72.

     

    Com o desempenho desta segunda-feira, a moeda norte-americana está no menor nível desde 20 de abril do ano passado, quando fechou em R$ 4,61. A divisa acumula queda de 1,19% em julho e de 10,36% em 2023. O euro comercial fechou a R$ 5,23 e atingiu o menor valor desde o último dia 30.

     

    O mercado financeiro global vive dias de expectativa, com a reunião do Federal Reserve (Fed, Banco Central norte-americano) nesta terça (25) e quarta-feira (26). O órgão poderá executar o último aumento dos juros básicos da maior economia do planeta, encerrando um ciclo de alta que começou em abril do ano passado.

     

    Países exportadores de commodities (bens primários com cotação internacional), como o Brasil, foram beneficiados pela valorização de preços de grãos no mercado externo, após o fim do acordo de exportação de cereais da Ucrânia.
