    ESCOLA DO BAIRRO SERRA DOURADA IRÁ ATENDER MAIS DE 300 ALUNOS, DIZ PREFEITURA

    A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana informou que a escola municipal que está sendo construída no bairro Serra Dourada terá capacidade para atender mais de 300 alunos. Serão beneficiados os bairros Maria José do Amaral, Marisa, Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Boa Esperança e Serra Dourada. O prazo para conclusão das obras é de 12 meses a partir do início dos trabalhos, que aconteceu em janeiro deste ano.

    A unidade contará com 12 salas de aulas, biblioteca, sala de informática, pátio com refeitório coberto, área de convivência, quadra poliesportiva coberta, cozinhas. Além disso, todos os espaços terão acessibilidade para crianças portadores de deficiências e dificuldades de locomoção.

    Segundo o governo municipal, serão investidos, inicialmente, cerca de R$4,6 milhões de recursos do próprio município. O espaço contempla área total de mais de 10 mil metros quadrados, sendo 2.246 de área construída.

    “Sabemos que é a educação que transforma uma sociedade. O gestor que não investe em educação está comprometendo o futuro de uma cidade. Construir escolas, reformar unidades que carecem de manutenção, investir em capacitação, merenda e material didático de qualidade é prioridade para o nosso governo”, destacou o prefeito Euzebio Lago.
