Na última sexta-feira (10), a prefeitura de Nova Serrana inaugurou a quadra poliesportiva coberta na escola do bairro Capão. A cerimônia contou com a presença do prefeito Euzebio Lago, da secretária de Educação Neusa Lago, secretários municipais, moradores do Capão e profissionais que atuam na unidade.

A quadra poliesportiva foi construída com recursos do próprio município; um investimento de mais de R$ 350 mil. O espaço é adaptado para a prática de diversas modalidades como futsal, handebol e basquete, conta com pavimento cimentado, travas, redes e cestas de basquete, além de cobertura e tela de proteção. No total, mais de 480 alunos matriculados na unidade serão beneficiados.
