Começa nesta segunda-feira (7) a aplicação das provas do Programa de Avaliação da Alfabetização (Proalfa) e do Programa de Avaliação da Rede Pública de Educação Básica (Proeb), nas escolas da rede pública estadual e redes municipais de ensino. O Proalfa avalia o desempenho dos estudantes do 2º ano do Ensino Fundamental e o Proeb é aplicado aos alunos do 5º e 9º anos do Ensino Fundamental e do 3º ano do Ensino Médio. As provas abrangem conteúdos de Língua Portuguesa e Matemática.

Os exames serão realizados pela Secretaria de Estado de Educação (SEE/MG), entre os dias 7 e 18 de novembro, nas escolas pertencentes às 47 Superintendências Regionais de Ensino (SREs) do estado. O Proeb e o Proalfa integram o Sistema Mineiro de Avaliação e Equidade da Educação (Simave).

A superintendente de Avaliação Educacional da Secretaria de Estado de Educação, Júlia Drumond, destaca que as provas são essenciais para avaliar o desenvolvimento dos estudantes em habilidades previstas no Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais ao longo do Ensino Fundamental e do Ensino Médio. “Com estas avaliações buscamos aferir a aprendizagem dos estudantes, turmas, escolas e da rede estadual como um todo. Os resultados obtidos são instrumentos indispensáveis para implementação de estratégias pedagógicas e de políticas públicas que buscam a melhoria da qualidade da educação e do ensino”, ressaltou.

Para realização das provas, que acontecem anualmente, a Secretaria e as regionais incentivam a mobilização da comunidade escolar, por meio da ampla divulgação sobre a importância das avaliações, envolvendo a participação dos estudantes, responsáveis, professores e demais profissionais de ensino. E, como incentivo aos estudantes, a SEE/MG envia recursos a todas as escolas estaduais para aquisição de kits de materiais escolares e um lanche especial para os alunos participantes nos dias da aplicação da prova.

Anualmente, o SIMAVE, criado em 2000 pela Secretaria de Estado de Educação de Minas Gerais, conta com a participação das escolas da rede estadual e das redes municipais mineiras, e tem o propósito de fomentar a melhoria da qualidade e equidade da educação, por meio da avaliação do nível de apropriação de conhecimentos e habilidades alcançado pelos estudantes em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática.
