    ESCOLAS MINEIRAS IMPLEMENTARÃO O NOVO ENSINO MÉDIO EM 2022

    O Currículo Referência do Ensino Médio de Minas Gerais, homologado em abril, traz modificações que serão implementadas a partir de 2022 em todas as escolas públicas e privadas do estado que oferecem este nível de ensino. A homologação é um dos passos para o novo ensino médio, instituído pela Lei federal 13.415/2017, que faz alterações na Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação (LDB) e institui a Política de Fomento à Implementação de Escolas de Ensino Médio em Tempo Integral.

    A implementação da proposta será gradual. Em 2022, o novo ensino médio será realidade nas escolas que oferecem o 1º ano dessa etapa de ensino; em 2023, ele alcança as turmas do 1º e 2º anos, e em 2024, será efetivado nos 1º, 2º e 3º anos. Para isso, o Estado tem disponibilizado formações ministradas pela Escola de Formação e Desenvolvimento Profissional de Educadores.

    A matriz curricular do novo ensino médio será composta pela formação geral básica, que compreende as quatro áreas do conhecimento e seus componentes curriculares: Linguagens e suas tecnologias; Matemática e suas tecnologias; Ciências da Natureza e suas tecnologias; Ciências Humanas e Sociais aplicadas. E também dos Itinerários Formativos, parte flexível do currículo. Os Itinerários Formativos serão compostos por componentes de introdução às áreas do conhecimento, introdução ao mundo do trabalho, projeto de vida, disciplinas eletivas e tecnologia e inovação.

    Entre as principais mudanças está a ampliação da carga horária anual, que passará de 833h20 min para 1 mil horas. Para promover a mudança na rede estadual de ensino mineira será criado o sexto horário. Em geral as escolas irão ter um horário a mais de aula. Mas nos municípios que não for possível essa adequação por causa do transporte escolar terá um dia de aula no contraturno.

    Com a ampliação da carga horária, além da formação geral básica – com aulas de Geografia, Matemática e Língua Portuguesa, por exemplo – os jovens também contarão com as eletivas, que são aulas de disciplinas especificadas de livre escolha. A escola irá planejar a disponibilidade de eletivas a partir das discussões do projeto de vida dos estudantes e das suas possibilidades. Temas ligados a tecnologia, produção literária, música, sustentabilidade, direitos humanos, e outros, podem ser oferecidos.

    Os estudantes terão ainda aulas de introdução às áreas do conhecimento, introdução ao mundo do trabalho e ao tema projeto de vida, que é construído pelo jovem durante três anos e que o auxilia a se organizar para alcançar seus objetivos após o ensino médio.
