De acordo com Maycon Ribeiro, irmão de Marcos, o rapaz trabalha com a coleta de lixo em Nova Serrana e teve sua rotina normal na última sexta-feira (15), dia em que desapareceu. Ele saiu de casa por volta de 17h, e não foi mais visto e nem entrou em contato com familiares e amigos. Ele vestia uma bermuda e uma blusa preta.
