Tem início da próxima segunda-feira (1º), a 2ª etapa da Campanha de Vacinação contra a Febre Aftosa em Minas Gerais. A expectativa do Instituto Mineiro de Agropecuária (IMA), que organiza e fiscaliza a vacinação junto aos produtores e estabelecimentos que revendem vacinas, é de que sejam imunizados 10 milhões de animais.
Nesta etapa deverão ser imunizados bovinos e bubalinos com idade de zero a 24 meses. O produtor que não vacinar os animais estará sujeito a multa de 25 Unidades Fiscais do Estado de Minas Gerais (Ufemgs) por animal, o equivalente a R$ 98,6 por cabeça. A declaração de vacinação também é obrigatória e o produtor que não o fizer até 10 de dezembro poderá receber multa de 5 Ufemgs, o equivalente a R$ 19,72 por cabeça.
A campanha vai até 30 de novembro. O produtor pode comprovar a vacinação dos animais usando o formato eletrônico de declaração que estará disponível em www.ima.mg.gov.br ou, caso tenha cadastro, acessando o Portal de Serviços do Produtor. Os comprovantes de vacinação também podem ser enviados por e-mail ou entregues presencialmente nos escritórios do IMA.
