    FEVEREIRO ROXO: ENTENDA A CAMPANHA DE COMBATE E CONSCIENTIZAÇÃO DA FIBROMIALGIA

    Rigidez matinal, dormência nas extremidades, alterações no sono, sensação de inchaço, dor torácica, palpitações, tonturas, dor de cabeça, alterações na memória e no humor são alguns dos sintomas da doença.
    Alguns estudos indicam que a fibromialgia é mais comum em pessoas que possuem uma maior sensibilidade à dor, ou seja, é como se um botão fosse ativado e o sistema nervoso central fizesse com que a pessoa sentisse mais dor, fazendo com que nervos, medula e cérebro aumentem a intensidade da dor.
    Por isso, é comum desenvolver a fibromialgia após eventos traumáticos, como físico, psicológico e até mesmo uma infecção grave.
    “Eu recebo frequentemente no meu consultório pacientes com estresse crônico, depressão e alteração de humor. Segundo a Sociedade Brasileira de Reumatologia, a depressão está presente em 50% dos pacientes com Fibromialgia (2011)”, relata a psicóloga Rosangela Sampaio.
    Segundo ela, o processo psicoterapêutico, que é um dos caminhos para auxiliar o paciente no tratamento contra a doença, melhora da qualidade do sono, assim como na manutenção ou restabelecimento do equilíbrio emocional. “Na clínica, o paciente é convidado a refletir sobre as suas emoções e como gerar mais emoções positivas, engajamento e aceitação, sentido de vida, realizações e relacionamentos positivos”, disse.
    Cada paciente lida à sua maneira em relação ao seu diagnóstico e isso é um fator determinante na evolução da doença. “Por isso, procuramos fazer com que a pessoa assuma uma atitude positiva frente às propostas terapêuticas e seus sintomas”.
    Uma pesquisa realizada pelo Instituto Gallup – em mais de 150 países – revelou que para as pessoas um futuro melhor inclui ter uma boa saúde. Isso não significa a ausência de doenças, mas ter escolhas referentes ao estilo de vida que sejam capazes de favorecer a saúde e promover o equilíbrio entre corpo e mente.
    “É por meio do nosso corpo que criamos e exprimimos sentimentos, emoções e pensamentos, ou seja, tudo o que chega à nossa mente passa primeiro pelo nosso corpo. Pensando nisso, surgiu o conceito de saúde positiva, um novo campo de conhecimento proposto por Martin Seligman, pai da Psicologia Positiva”, conta Sampaio.
    “Segundo ele, a saúde positiva direciona o nosso foco para aquilo que nos torna saudáveis. Afinal, nós sabemos o que nos faz adoecer, mas nem sempre sabemos o que, de fato, nos tornam saudáveis”, acrescenta.

    Confira os pilares da saúde positiva, que constituem recursos que devemos adquirir ou preservar, e reflita se suas ações estão contribuindo para uma vida mais longa e saudável.

    – Utilize os recursos biológicos relevantes à sua saúde, como massa corporal, pressão arterial, temperatura, batimentos cardíacos, entre outros;
    – Use recursos subjetivos. Isso abrange estados de bem-estar físico, como energia, vigor, vitalidade, e sensação de estar no controle da própria saúde. Também entram os níveis de otimismo, satisfação com a vida, emoções positivas, engajamento em nossa vida e nas coisas que fazemos.
    A campanha é importante porque nos faz compreender o nosso papel na sociedade em relação à doença, e mostra que podemos mudar os nossos hábitos, nos informar e termos um papel de destaque com relação à prevenção da doença.
