Cerca de 10,6 milhões de brasileiros ainda não sacaram o Fundo PIS-Pasep, liberado desde agosto de 2019 para beneficiários de todas as idades. Segundo a Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF), são R$ 23,3 bilhões ainda esperando pelos beneficiários.
A quantidade de recursos ainda não sacada se deve, em parte, ao fato de muitos cotistas terem falecido antes de retirar o dinheiro, sem que seus herdeiros tivessem conhecimento do benefício. Outro fator que contribui para esse cenário é que os beneficiários são idosos, e, com isso, podem não ter se atentado para o direito de sacar os valores.
– Quem tem direito às cotas?
Tem cotas do PIS somente quem trabalhou com carteira assinada na iniciativa privada entre 1971 e 1988. Já as cotas do Pasep são destinadas a quem trabalhou como servidor público ou militar no mesmo período. Todos os participantes cadastrados no Fundo PIS-Pasep até 4 de outubro de 1988 que possuam saldo de cotas podem sacar. O prazo final para a retirada do dinheiro é 1º de junho de 2025.
Os valores não sacados após esse período serão tidos como abandonados e passam a ser propriedade da União. No caso de morte do titular das cotas, os herdeiros e sucessores poderão sacar o dinheiro
– Os saques de até R$ 3 mil podem ser feitos com o Cartão do Cidadão e a senha cidadão nos terminais de autoatendimento da Caixa. Nas lotéricas e Correspondentes Caixa Aqui, além do Cartão do Cidadão e senha, o cotista deverá apresentar documento de identificação oficial com foto.
– Os valores acima de R$ 3 mil devem ser sacados nas agências, mediante apresentação de documento oficial com foto.
Desde junho de 2020, as cotas do Fundo PIS-Pasep estão vinculadas ao Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço (FGTS). Portanto, para consultar o saldo, o cotista ou herdeiro deve acessar os sistemas da Caixa Econômica Federal. A consulta poderá ser realizada pelo aplicativo do FGTS, pelo site FGTS e internet banking Caixa. É possível ainda consultar o saldo nas agências da Caixa – para isso, basta apresentar documento de identificação com foto.
Os cotistas ou herdeiros poderão verificar se têm saldo a receber através do site do banco ou pelo aplicativo do FGTS. Para consultar o saldo de cotas, é necessário ou o número do CPF (ou antigo CIC) ou o número do NIS do cotista, que pode ser encontrado:
no Cartão do Cidadão;
nas anotações gerais de Carteira de Trabalho antiga;
na página de identificação da nova Carteira de Trabalho;
no extrato do FGTS impresso.
Em caso de consultar com o número do NIS, o beneficiário ou herdeiro também precisarão de uma senha.
