O governador Romeu Zema anunciou, nesta terça (14), em Papagaios, na região Central do estado, início das obras de pavimentação de 45 quilômetros da rodovia MG-060, no trecho Papagaios-Pompéu. Participaram do evento autoridades da região, entre os quais o deputado estadual Fábio Avelar (Avante).
A intervenção, que contará com investimentos que podem ultrapassar R$ 130 milhões, é a maior num conjunto de seis projetos rodoviários para a região atingida pelo rompimento da barragem em Brumadinho.
Outra novidade apresentada pelo governador foi o depósito de R$ 32 milhões para o fortalecimento da Saúde e da Assistência Social em 25 municípios da Bacia do Rio Paraopeba.
Os recursos correspondem às primeiras parcelas de três projetos, e cada município receberá um valor específico deste total. Brumadinho, que seria o 26º município da lista oficial de atingidos, não entra nesse rateio, pois já está contemplado com ações socioeconômicas em outra seção do Acordo Judicial.
