Portaria publicada pelo Ministério da Cidadania no Diário Oficial da União de hoje (4) suspende a retomada do cronograma de bloqueio de pagamentos e de suspensão de benefícios previstos no Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais do governo federal.
Segundo a portaria, o novo prazo para a retomada do cronograma é 31 de março. A decisão tem por base a situação emergencial pela qual passa o país em decorrência da pandemia.
É por meio do Cadastro Único que o governo identifica quem são e como vivem as famílias de baixa renda no Brasil, de forma a torná-las aptas para participar de programas sociais como Bolsa Família, Tarifa Social de Energia Elétrica e Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida, além de possibilitar isenção de taxas como as cobradas em concursos públicos.
Para se enquadrar nesse grupo, a renda média familiar tem de ser de até metade de um salário mínimo por mês, o que corresponde a R$ 522,50. Para se chegar a essa média basta somar o salário de todas as pessoas da família e dividir pelo número de pessoas que a integram.
Também se enquadram famílias cuja soma total dos salários seja de até R$ 3.135 (valor que corresponde a três salários mínimos). Também se enquadram nesse grupo pessoas que estejam em situação de rua.
