    GOVERNO AUMENTA LIMITE DE ISENÇÃO DO IMPOSTO DE RENDA EM 2 SALÁRIOS MÍNIMOS

    O governo federal anunciou, na noite de ontem, terça-feira (6), o aumento na faixa de isenção do Imposto de Renda da Pessoa Física (IRPF) para dois salários mínimos. É o segundo aumento na isenção desde o início deste governo.

     

    O teto de isenção, que estava congelado em R$ 1.903,98 desde 2015, subiu em maio de 2023 para R$ 2.640,00 e agora vai para R$ 2.824,00. “A falta de atualização da tabela, ao longo de tantos anos, fez com que os brasileiros pagassem cada vez mais Imposto de Renda, retirando dinheiro das famílias”, afirmou o Ministério da Fazenda.

     

    Conforme explicou a pasta, o contribuinte com rendimentos de até R$ 2.824,00 mensais será beneficiado com a isenção porque, dessa renda, subtrai-se o desconto simplificado, de R$ 564,80, resultando em uma base cálculo mensal de R$ 2.259,20, ou seja, exatamente o limite máximo da faixa de alíquota zero da nova tabela.

     

    A Medida Provisória nº 1.206/24, com a alteração, foi encaminhada ao Congresso Nacional nesta terça-feira. A MP, no entanto, já está publicada no Diário Oficial e, portanto, já está valendo. No entanto, precisa ser ratificada pelo Congresso Nacional em até 120 dias. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)

Além disso, há a possibilidade de um aumento no imposto de renda futuro para compensar o custo dessa medida?
