Durante a reunião desta quinta-feira (22),o Comitê Extraordinário Covid-19 apresentou novas regras para cirurgias eletivas em hospitais privados e públicos em Minas Gerais. Uma resolução da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde (SES-MG) será publicada sobre o tema, assim como a Deliberação do Comitê Extraordinário Covid será alterada.
Com a mudança, hospitais privados, ou seja, que não recebem recursos públicos, podem retomar as cirurgias eletivas, reduzindo assim o passivo existente e a espera dos pacientes. Já na rede SUS, essa retomada poderá ocorrer no momento em que se comprovar estoque de pelo menos 30 dias do chamado kit intubação. Macrorregiões em cenário desfavorável seguem impedidas de realizar esse tipo de cirurgia.
A suspensão das eletivas foi determinada devido à pressão por leitos de UTI e pelo baixo estoque do kit intubação em todo o país, com a consequente dificuldade de acesso a esses medicamentos. Segundo o secretário de Estado de Saúde, o médico Fábio Baccheretti, a preocupação atual é em relação aos atrasos que a pandemia gerou neste tipo de cirurgia.
