COM MAIOR QUEIJO DO MUNDO, GOVERNO DE MINAS ENCERRA HOMENAGENS AOS MODOS DE FAZER O QUEIJO MINAS ARTESANAL

O governador de Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, e o vice-governador Professor Mateus, participaram, neste domingo (15/12), do encerramento das celebrações oficiais em 2024 pelo reconhecimento dos Modos de Fazer o Queijo Minas Artesanal, como Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade pela Unesco.

 

Para marcar a data, o Governo do Estado apresentou o maior queijo do mundo em um evento realizado em frente à Igreja de São Francisco de Assis, a Igrejinha da Pampulha, em Belo Horizonte. Produzida em Ipanema, no Vale do Rio Doce, a iguaria presta uma homenagem aos produtores e ao Queijo Minas Artesanal. Durante o evento, foi feito o corte e distribuição do queijo para os visitantes.

 

“É uma felicidade enorme para nós mineiros que apreciamos tanto esse produto que está sempre presente nas nossas casas e nas nossas mesas. Um brinde para Minas Gerais e o meu reconhecimento ao trabalho da Emater, do IMA, da Faemg, de muitos que tiveram envolvidos nessa conquista tão grande e principalmente dos produtores de queijo artesanal, que são os grandes protagonistas dessa conquista”, disse o governador Romeu Zema.

 

O evento deste domingo destacou o valor das práticas artesanais que mantêm vivos os modos de fazer únicos, passados de geração para geração nas dez regiões produtoras do Queijo Minas Artesanal, e o turismo de experiência, convidando visitantes a conhecer de perto as queijarias, os processos de produção sustentável e as paisagens culturais que fazem do queijo um dos maiores símbolos de Minas Gerais.

 

Celebração dos Modos de Fazer Queijo Minas Artesanal

 

A programação, realizada por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Cultura e Turismo de Minas Gerais (Secult-MG), do Instituto Estadual do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico de Minas Gerais (Iepha-MG) e da Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (Codemge), também contou com a apresentação do violinista e compositor Marcus Viana, que interpretou a canção “Pátria Minas”, escolhida como a música oficial da celebração.

 

A decisão de reconhecer os Modos de Fazer o Queijo Minas Artesanal como Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade foi em 4/12 em reunião realizada em Assunção, no Paraguai. Com o título, o Brasil passou a ter o primeiro produto da cultura alimentar incluído na Lista Representativa do Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial da Unesco. (COM AGÊNCIA MINAS)
