    GOVERNO DE MINAS LANÇA NOVO REGULAMENTO DO ICMS, MAIS SIMPLES E REORGANIZADO

    Reduzir burocracia, aumentar a segurança jurídica tributária e, principalmente, contribuir para a geração de emprego e renda de qualidade para os mineiros. Esses são benefícios diretos do Novo Regulamento do ICMS (RICMS), lançado pelo governador Romeu Zema, nesta quarta-feira (22).

    Simplificado, o documento reorganizado cria facilidades para o setor produtivo que já atua em Minas e, também, ajudará na atração de novos investimentos para o estado.

    Durante a assinatura do decreto, em ato simbólico, o governador Romeu Zema fez um descarte de parte do regulamento, para mostrar como as mudanças eliminam grande parte da papelada que antes organizava o tributo. Em Minas, o regulamento do ICMS – considerado um dos tributos mais complexos do mundo – não era revisado há 20 anos. “Infelizmente, no Brasil, vai sendo acumulado entulho legislativo regulatório, e isso só serve para dificultar a vida tanto de quem trabalha no setor produtivo e de quem está no estado, já que fica mais difícil levar adiante qualquer tipo de fiscalização e auditoria”, disse o governador.

    Com o novo regulamento, a consulta ficará mais fácil, por exemplo, para os profissionais que atuam na área contábil, reduzindo as chances de erros.

    “A partir de agora, nós temos o regulamento de ICMS mais moderno do Brasil. Isso terá grande impacto na vida de todos. Vai facilitar ainda mais a atração de investimentos, a geração de empregos”, reforçou o governador. “É por isso que já manifestei meu apoio à reforma tributária. Se não tivermos essa simplificação, vamos continuar tendo impacto negativo nas nossas vidas”, acrescentou.

    O decreto 48.589 será publicado na edição do Diário Oficial do Estado desta quinta-feira (23/3). No entanto, todo o mercado e o setor produtivo terão até julho para se adaptar à nova regulamentação.
