GOVERNO E COPASA FACILITAM RENEGOCIAÇÃO DE DÉBITOS EM CONDIÇÕES ESPECIAIS

O Governo de Minas e a Copasa anunciaram, na última semana, condições especiais para seus clientes renegociarem seus débitos.

– Tarifa Social

Clientes beneficiários da Tarifa Social não terão seu abastecimento suspenso até o dia 31/05, assim como não haverá a incidência de juros e multas por conta de atraso no pagamento das contas desse período. Para acerto de contas, dos clientes que já estão em débito com a Companhia, as condições especiais são:

– Entrada sem juros

– Prazo até 36 x

Com as novas condições de negociação dos débitos, os clientes beneficiários da Tarifa Social poderão parcelar suas faturas atrasadas sem entrada, cobrança de juros, multas e dividir em até 36 meses. A adesão deve ser feita até o dia 15 de maio de 2021, por meio do site da Copasa (copasa.com.br).

– Demais Categorias

Clientes da categoria comercial e dos ramos de atividades abrangidos pelo Decreto Municipal nº 17.566 de Belo Horizonte e pelas Deliberações No 130 e 138 do Comitê Extraordinário, com faturas com vencimento a partir de 18/03/2021 a 17/04/2021, terão o prazo de vencimento dessas contas postergado para 17/05/2021. Caso tenham interesse no  parcelamento dos valores das faturas desse período, sem juros e multas; deverá ser feita solicitação formal por meio do canal Fale Conosco, disponível no site copasa.com.br

Clientes que possuem contratos especiais de demanda (grandes volumes) com a Copasa, poderão requerer que o faturamento do período 18/03/2021 a 17/04/2021 seja apurado pelo consumo real medido, caso o volume de água consumido esteja menor do que o volume contratado;

Clientes com débitos pendentes ou abastecimento interrompido poderão aderir à Campanha de Parcelamento Especial, em condições extremamente facilitadas e mais benéficas, contribuindo para mitigar os impactos financeiros e econômicos causados pelo isolamento social aos cidadãos durante a pandemia.

Atenção: A adesão poderá ser feita pelo site copasa.com.br até 15/05/2021.

Em circunstâncias normais, os débitos eram parcelados em até 24 vezes, com uma entrada de 20% do valor da fatura e juros de 1% ao mês.

– Fonte de Recurso

A Copasa esclarece que os valores recebidos com o pagamento das faturas de seus clientes são a única fonte de receita da Companhia.

A Copasa não recebe subsídio ou verba dos governos, ou qualquer fundo do setor regulatório para prestar seus serviços para a população.

Assim, manter as contas em dia é o que garante a capacidade de abastecimento para seus clientes. O pagamento feito pelos clientes é que viabilizam a manutenção da cadeia de serviços e fornecedores necessários para que a Copasa permaneça garantindo a continuidade do abastecimento para os mineiros.

Para solicitar o parcelamento do débito, o cliente pode acessar o site www.copasa.com.br, em Agência Virtual, com simulação e emissão da fatura de entrada automaticamente.

Outro caminho é entrar em contato pelo Fale Conosco, caso encontre alguma dificuldade.

Para o atendimento ser mais rápido, o cliente deve ter em mãos o CPF cadastrado na Copasa.

É tudo bem fácil para quem já tem cadastro no site. Quem não tiver pode fazê-lo na hora de maneira rápida.
