No sábado (17), no Pará, o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participou, da entrega de 222 moradias do programa Minha Casa Minha Vida. As casas fazem parte de um residencial, que estava com obras paralisadas nos últimos quatro anos, segundo o governo federal, e agora atenderá a 888 pessoas que se enquadram na faixa 1 do programa, aquela voltada para famílias com renda bruta mensal de até R$ 2.640.
“Esse condomínio foi contratado pela presidenta Dilma em 2012. E tem dez anos que esse condomínio estava parado”, afirmou o ministro das Cidades, Jader Barbalho Filho. Segundo ele, o governo recebeu 186 mil casas contratadas, mas com 86 mil obras paralisadas. A meta para este ano é contratar 230 mil moradias e, ao longo dos quatro anos, a gestão Lula promete contratar 2 milhões de moradias em todo o país. “Nós vamos acabar todas as casas que estavam previstas e faremos 2 milhões de casas novas nesse país”, afirmou Lula.
O presidente ressaltou que a nova versão do programa construirá moradias com sacada e um tamanho mínimo de 41 metros quadrados (m²). “Os apartamentos vão ter uma sacada, o conjunto habitacional terá uma biblioteca, para as pessoas aprenderem a ler”, destacou o presidente.
