O prefeito Euzebio Lago e o secretário de Trânsito, Transporte e Defesa Social, Antônio Marcos de Oliveira, fizeram na última semana, a entrega de três carros e duas motocicletas para a Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Nova Serrana. Os automóveis servirão para melhorar e intensificar as ações realizadas pela GCM.
Nesse contexto de pandemia, os automóveis também contribuirão para a intensificação das ações de fiscalização, que estão sendo realizadas pela Vigilância Sanitária com o apoio incondicional da GCM.
No total, foram investidos pelo município (recursos próprios) R$280 mil na aquisição dos veículos.
O comandante da GCM, CMD Almeida, comemorou mais essa conquista e agradeceu o empenho do prefeito Euzebio Lago em buscar recursos e melhorias para a Guarda, o que resulta automaticamente no aumento da sensação de segurança pela população.
O prefeito Euzebio Lago, também citou o importante papel da GCM na manutenção da ordem no município e na garantia da segurança e, nesse contexto de pandemia, na preservação de vidas.
