O Instituto de Arte Contemporânea de Inhotim, em Brumadinho, na região metropolitana, vai reabrir as portas na próxima sexta-feira (5), após quase um mês de fechamento. O anúncio foi feito ontem (2). No site do instituto, um banner já convida os interessados a comprar ingressos para a visita.
O museu foi fechado no dia 7 de janeiro, após a prefeitura de Brumadinho publicar um decreto municipal que permitia que apenas serviços essenciais pudessem funcionar na cidade.
A pandemia já tinha obrigado o Inhotim a ficar quase oito meses de portas fechadas. Quando enfim voltou a receber o público, no início de novembro, ele limitou a venda de ingressos a 10% da sua capacidade normal. Em 2020, por conta da pandemia, 84 funcionários foram demitidos.
Em 2019 o museu já havia sofrido com a redução de visitantes, primeiro por conta um surto de febre amarela na região, depois com o desastre da Vale em Brumadinho. A reabertura vai seguir a medidas de segurança de combate à Covid-19.
