Caixas d’água, cisterna, vasos e bebedouros de animais continuam no topo da lista dos locais onde mais são encontrados focos do mosquito transmissor da Dengue, Zika e Chikungunya em Nova Serrana.
Isso foi o que revelou o último Levantamento de Índice Rápido de Infestação do Aedes Aegypti (LIRAa). A mostra foi realizada entre os dias 20 e 22 de janeiro por 24 agentes epidemiológicos, que realizaram a identificação dos imóveis, e a coleta de amostras de possíveis focos do mosquito.
A pesquisa apontou índice de infestação de 6,9%, número menor do que o de janeiro de 2020 (7,7%), porém maior do que o indicado pelo Ministério da Saúde que é 1%.
De acordo com o LIRAa, os recipientes onde mais foram encontrados focos do mosquito são: caixas d’água, barril, tonéis, cisterna, depósito ao nível do solo para consumo doméstico, vasos, bebedouros, depósito de construção, recipientes de degelo, borracharias, tanques, calhas, lajes em desníveis, sanitários em desuso, piscinas não tratadas, flores ornamentais, caixas de passagem (pias), pneus, lixo, recipientes como garrafas pet e latas , sucatas em pátios, ferros velhos , recicladoras e entulhos.
De acordo com o governo municipal, o Setor de Endemias está planejando a realização de ações como campanhas de “Quintal Limpo”, trabalhos de conscientização de moradores para retirada de entulho dos quintais, reunião com outros setores para novas estratégias, mobilização social, entre outros.
