A proposta do governo federal que isenta de Imposto de Renda (IR) quem ganha até R$ 5 mil será votado nesta quarta-feira (1º), na Câmara dos Deputados. O projeto propõe que a cobrança de alíquota extra sobre os mais ricos vai compensar o alívio de imposto sobre os mais pobres. As alíquotas adicionais progressivas afetarão quem ganha mais de R$ 600 mil por ano (R$ 50 mil por mês), atingindo o patamar máximo de 10% para quem ganha mais de R$ 1,2 milhão (R$ 100 mil por mês).
Além de confirmar essa alíquota extra, o relator elevou, de R$ 7 mil para R$ 7,35 mil por mês, a faixa de renda a ser beneficiada com redução parcial do IR. O projeto de lei estende a isenção de IR para quem ganha até R$ 5 mil mensais e, na versão original, previa redução da cobrança para quem ganhasse até R$ 7 mil.
Em agosto, a Câmara aprovou tramitação em regime de urgência para a proposta. Com isso, o texto entrará na pauta do plenário da Casa. (AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
