    MEDALHA PROFESSOR RUY BORBOREMA É ENTREGUE EM SOLENIDADE ESPORTIVA

    A solenidade de entrega da Medalha de Mérito Esportivo Professor Ruy Borborema foi realizada na última semana pela Câmara de Nova Serrana. Após 56 dias de votação, a população pode conhecer os vencedores do ano de 2022, que foram:

    Categoria Homenagem Póstuma: Reginaldo Francisco dos Santos (Polegar) – (Indicação da Mesa Diretora).

    Categoria Legado Esportivo: Juliano Tobias [1149 votos] – (Indicação do vereador Ricardo Tobias).

    Categoria Reconhecimento Esportivo: Santa Cruz Futebol Clube de Ripas [617 votos] (Indicação do vereador Zé Faquinha).

    Categoria Destaque Esportivo: Ryane Kathllen Aparecida Ferreira Carvalho [366 votos] (Indicação da Mesa Diretora).

    • Ryane kathllen Aparecida Ferreira Carvalho – Jogadora de Futsal Feminino – Joga futsal desde os 11 anos de idade. Seu primeiro treinador foi Ismael Rodrigo. Jogou pela equipe Meninas de Ouro onde tudo começou. Aos 16 anos foi para Itararé, no interior de São Paulo, para jogar na equipe ARCI, uma equipe semiprofissional pela qual jogou campeonatos como: Regionais, Jogos Abertos, e Jogos da Juventude. Ficou na equipe durante um ano e meio. Logo após foi para o Américo Brasiliense-São Paulo. Voltou para Nova Serrana e atualmente joga no Futminas, disputando os campeonatos da região, como Mineiro, Jimi, Lidcon e outros.
    • Santa Cruz Futebol Clube de Ripas – Fundado nos anos 70, se despontou como um clube forte nos torneios rurais na região, tendo em seu elenco diversos jogadores renomados, mas a grande maioria dos jogadores sempre foi de moradores da Comunidade das Ripas. Em 1978 foi registrado na Liga dos Desportos. Em 1989 foi Campeão Regional invicto e também foi vencedor invicto no primeiro campeonato de Nova Serrana (1990). Ao longo dos anos colecionou vitórias e momentos marcantes. Dentre seus principais títulos estão: Campeonatos Rurais Aspirante, Campeão da Copa TV Serranense e Campeão Municipal Sub 23. Há anos leva alegria, competitividade, e entretenimento a todos os torcedores, atletas e moradores da comunidade de Ripas.
    • Juliano Tobias da Silva – Educador Físico que começou a trabalhar aos 14 anos dando aulas de artes marciais e exercícios aeróbicos no Clube Araguaia. Montou sua primeira academia de artes marciais aos 17 anos de idade em Nova Serrana e foi campeão mundial de artes marciais. Realizou diversos eventos esportivos a nível internacional. Cursou Faculdade de Educação Física pela UFMG. Aos 26 anos, voltou a ser o campeão mundial de artes marciais, elevando o nome do município na área do esporte. É proprietário da ‘Atleta Academia’. Treinou os atletas do Time Nacional de Nova Serrana por quatro anos. Cuida do preparo físico da Polícia Militar, Polícia Civil, Guarda Municipal e Polícia Penais. É palestrante e também promove eventos esportivos.
    • Reginaldo Francisco dos Santos – conhecido como Polegar, nasceu em 25 de julho de 1972 na cidade de Divinópolis. Filho de Geraldo Francisco dos Santos e Vicentina Maria dos Santos, era o 6º de oito irmãos. Em 1982 mudou-se com sua família para Nova Serrana onde fixou moradia. Aos 12 anos começou sua trajetória no futebol jogando nas duas equipes tradicionais da cidade: Palmeirinha do seu irmão Alvimar e depois Dinokão. Polegar era atleticano apaixonado da cabeça aos pés pelo time e tinha muito orgulho disso. Com taça ou sem taça ele era fiel ao seu Galo do coração. O polegar amava muito e descobrimos juntos que ele também era muito amado. Ele nunca desistiu de lutar, de viver, de acreditar e principalmente de ter fé e amar, amar a Deus, as pessoas, a vida. Ele amou sem medidas, ensinou sem medidas e viveu tudo com muita intensidade, com suas dores, suas lutas e vontades. Ele venceu a batalha, combateu o bom combate, guardou a fé, recebeu a coroa da justiça e ressuscitou em Cristo.
