Apesar de Nova Serrana continuar na fase mais restritiva do programa estadual Minas Consciente, o prefeito Euzebio lago (MDB), publicou o decreto 006/2021 autorizando o funcionamento das feiras livres, restrito aos feirantes cadastrados para o comércio de hortifrutigranjeiros, carnes, peixes, laticínios, bolos, biscoitos, roscas e similares.
Os feirantes deverão respeitar as orientações da fiscalização municipal para a montagem das barracas, como forma de garantir o maior espaço possível para o fluxo de pessoas, obedecendo a distância de 1,5 metro entre uma pessoa e outra;
Também devem adotar as medidas de higienização como limpeza constante das mãos com água corrente e sabão ou com álcool gel 70, bem como dos tabuleiros e demais itens que guarnecem as barracas, a exemplo das balanças, cestas, recipientes em geral etc;
Fica proibido o consumo de alimentos nas feiras livres, os quais poderão ser comercializados em embalagens fechadas e adequadas ao transporte pelo consumidor até sua residência.
Estão confirmadas as feiras dos bairros Romeu Duarte (quinta-feira); São Geraldo (sexta-feira), Centro (sábado); Planalto (domingo).
