O uso de máscaras em locais abertos passa a ser facultativo em Minas Gerais a partir deste sábado (12). A medida anunciada pelo secretário de Estado de Saúde, Fábio Baccheretti, foi tomada a partir da melhoria dos indicadores da pandemia em Minas Gerais e ao avanço na vacinação. Cabe aos municípios a decisão de adotar ou não a orientação da SES-MG. Já em locais fechados, o uso da máscara segue obrigatório até que pelo menos 70% das pessoas com mais de 18 anos estejam vacinadas com a dose de reforço. Atualmente, 45% do público-alvo recebeu a terceira injeção.
Segundo o secretário, a desobrigação não é um desestímulo ao uso. Aqueles que são mais vulneráveis ou estão com sintomas gripais não devem se sentir constrangidos para continuar usando a máscara. “Ela continua sendo muito importante para proteger um ao outro”, disse.
Vale lembrar que há doses disponíveis para imunizar todos aqueles que ainda não buscaram a vacina.
Ainda segundo o secretário, a ampliação da cobertura de doses de reforço é considerada peça-chave para a diminuição de casos graves e de mortes.
“O reforço foi fundamental para diminuir a gravidade de pessoas que adoeceram. A circulação do vírus também deve diminuir. Estamos alcançando o menor patamar de novos casos desde o início da pandemia. A solicitação de internações continua caindo e também estamos observando uma redução do número de óbitos”, afirmou.
Os indicadores de imunização nos municípios vão nortear as medidas a serem seguidas em cada localidade.
Locais abertos – O critério para desobrigação do uso do protetor facial em locais abertos é o município ter atingido pelo menos 80% do esquema vacinal completo (duas doses ou dose única) da população com mais de cinco anos de idade, e também ter aplicado a dose de reforço em mais de 40% das pessoas com idade acima de 18 anos.
Locais fechados – Para locais fechados, os indicadores são 80% da vacinação completa e mais de 70% da dose de reforço.
