As pessoas estão cada vez mais digitais e isso se reflete também no mercado automotivo, com mais transações de compra e venda nas plataformas online. Se por um lado todos ganham com a facilidade e agilidade, a falta de conhecimento sobre como funcionam as negociações nesse ambiente pode deixar as pessoas mais expostas a golpes e fraudes. Diante desse cenário, as principais plataformas de compra e venda online do Brasil, iCarros, OLX e SóCarrão, se reuniram para a 2ª edição da campanha de educação digital, Semana da Segurança, que acontece simultaneamente nas três plataformas e nas redes sociais das companhias, de 7 a 13 de novembro, alertando sobre os principais golpes que acontecem do mercado de Autos e como os usuários podem se proteger.

A Pesquisa de mercado realizada para a edição deste ano, aponta que Minas Gerais é o segundo Estado com mais golpes nessa categoria, com 11% dos casos, considerando o 1º semestre de 2022, atrás apenas de São Paulo (44%). Roubo de Dados é o principal golpe aplicado no estado, com 71%, ou seja, os fraudadores utilizam de engenharia social para extrair dados pessoais e bancários das pessoas, para depois o utilizarem em novos golpes, como o do Falso Intermediário; Falso Anúncio aparece em segundo lugar, com 28% dos casos, com veículos inexistentes para conseguir pagamento antecipado, ficando o comprador sem o carro e sem o dinheiro.

O prejuízo estimado com os golpes aplicados de janeiro a junho de 2022 em Minas Gerais foi de cerca de R$ 44,3 milhões. Um dos principais atributos dos anúncios fraudulentos para atrair as vítimas é o preço do veículo abaixo do mercado. O estudo levantou que em casos de golpes, esse valor fica entre 70% e 80% da tabela FIPE, enquanto os anúncios idôneos têm, em sua maioria, valores de 100% da tabela. Gol, Corolla e Celta são os modelos mais utilizados para aplicar golpes.

A maioria dos mineiros que caíram em fraudes são homens (88%), contra 12% de mulheres. 50% das vítimas têm até 31 anos. A região sudeste é a que mais teve fraudes em Autos, com o estado de São Paulo liderando com 44%, seguido por Minas Gerais, 11%, e Rio de Janeiro, 7%.

Confira as principais medidas que devem ser adotadas para se prevenir da ação dos fraudadores:

Negociar diretamente com o proprietário do veículo ou com a pessoa que irá comprar o item, evite negociar com terceiros, como parentes, amigos ou revendedores não autorizados;

Tire todas as dúvidas preferencialmente pelo chat e canais oficiais das plataformas, evitando levar a conversa para aplicativos de mensagem, que são ambientes menos controlados;

Sempre marque uma visita para ver o veículo presencialmente antes de fechar o negócio e prefira locais públicos e movimentados, como estacionamentos de shoppings e supermercados e vá, de preferência, acompanhado e durante o dia;

Antes de concluir o negócio, peça uma Vistoria Cautelar em uma empresa credenciada pelo Detran e vá junto com o dono do automóvel;

Faça o pagamento apenas em uma conta em nome do proprietário do veículo e antes de depositar, verifique os dados direto com o proprietário;

Se está vendendo, confirme os dados bancários da conta em que o valor do veículo deve ser depositado;

Vendedor e comprador devem ir junto ao cartório fazer a transferência e o pagamento só deve ser feito quando a transação for concluída no cartório.
