    MINISTRO PEDE INVESTIGAÇÃO DA PF E DA ABIN SOBRE APAGÃO

    O ministro de Minas e Energia, Alexandre Silveira, disse que a interrupção no fornecimento de energia elétrica registrada na manhã de ontem, em todas as regiões do país, foi um evento extremamente raro. Por isso, além das apurações internas do Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico (ONS) e da Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel), foi solicitado ao Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública que a Polícia Federal e a Agência Brasileira de Inteligência (Abin) também investiguem com detalhes as causas da falta de energia.

     

    O governo já sabe que houve uma sobrecarga em uma linha de transmissão de energia no Ceará, o que fez com o que o sistema entrasse em colapso nas regiões Norte e Nordeste. Quando isso ocorreu, o ONS modulou a carga que estava sendo enviada para o Sul, o Sudeste e o Centro-Oeste, como forma de proteção, o que fez com que a energia fosse reduzida nessas regiões. Houve pelo menos 16 mil megawatts (MW) de interrupção de energia.

     

    Segundo o Ministério de Minas e Energia, nas regiões Sul, Sudeste e Centro-Oeste a energia voltou cerca de uma hora depois da interrupção e, no Norte e no Nordeste, o fornecimento foi completamente restabelecido às 14h49.

     

    O ministro explicou que o ocorrido hoje não tem nada a ver com o suprimento e a segurança energética do Brasil. A queda de energia atingiu 25 estados e o Distrito Federal. O único estado que não foi afetado foi Roraima, que não é integrado ao Sistema Interligado Nacional. Cerca de 27 milhões de pessoas foram atingidas, representando um terço dos consumidores brasileiros. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
