A ONG Arca de Noé promove a segunda feira de adoção de pets. Além de contribuir com a redução dos animais que estão abandonados nas ruas de Nova Serrana, a adoção também traz benefícios para a saúde mental dos adotantes. Pesquisas comprovam que, tanto os cães quanto os gatos, ajudam a diminuir a ansiedade e o estresse, além de aumentar a autoestima e a segurança de seus donos. Para adotar, basta ir neste sábado (9) até a Casa do Fazendeiro do Léo na Av. Rio Negro, nº 1000, bairro Amazonas, a partir de 8h. Ao todo, estarão disponíveis 22 pets, entre cães e gatos de pequeno e médio porte.
Animais que viveram grande parte de sua vida em abrigos ou abandonados nas ruas, quando encontram um lar com amor e carinho, tendem a expressar toda sua gratidão. Eles reconhecem quem os tirou de uma situação ruim e sabem agradecer, além de geralmente serem dóceis e amorosos. E os baixinhos têm um motivo a mais para irem nesta feira: o evento também vai celebrar o Dia Das Crianças (12/10). “Terá pipoca e algodão doce, além de aulinhas de conscientização sobre a vida animal para as crianças”, conta a fundadora da ONG, Luana Costa.
Para adotar é necessário ser maior de idade e levar documento com foto. Após uma entrevista com os interessados, os selecionados podem escolher seus cães ou gatos para levar para casa.
