No final da manhã desta segunda (20), administradores da Igreja de N. S. do Rosário relataram um novo ato de vandalismo no local. Desta vez, uma imagem de Santa Efigênia teve a cabeça quebrada.
Segundo Daniel Nunes, secretário da associação Irmandade Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Nova Serrana e um dos colaboradores na zeladoria do templo religioso católico, desconhecidos entraram novamente no local, que ainda não havia sido reparado do arrombamento no final de semana, e vandalizaram outra imagem sacra.
Ainda segundo o administrador, não há informações que levem a autoria do crime.
O registro de mais este ato pode levar ao descarte da hipótese de arrombamento e vandalismo, para configuração do crime de ofensa religiosa. A polícia já investiga o caso e precisa de informações. Caso alguém tenha visto algo suspeito, ligue 190 (PM) ou 181 — Disque Denúncia anônima.

Na tarde de sábado (18) foi constatado um arrombamento na Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Rosário e o vandalismo de uma imagem de Nossa Senhora de Rosário. A polícia registrou o fato e uma investigação já começou.
Há relatos de danos estruturais estrutura da igreja, que podem provocar o desabamento do templo religioso. Além disso, a falta de segurança e iluminação pública adequada nos arredores, facilitam ações delituosas registradas.
