De acordo com o boletim epidemiológico desta quinta-feira (08), em Nova Serrana já são 179 mortes em decorrência da Covid-19. O último óbito foi registrado nas últimas 24 horas. Outras 11 mortes suspeitas são investigadas pela Secretaria de Estado de Saúde (SES-MG).
O boletim também aponta que 5.961 pessoas já contraíram o novo coronavírus. São 40 casos a mais do que quarta (7), quando eram 5.921. Do total de infectados: 20 estão internados (três de outros municípios); 783 em tratamento domiciliar; 179 pacientes morreram e o restante se recuperou.
Já das 3.427 pessoas com suspeita da doença, 10 estão internadas (duas transferidas de outras cidades).
No CTI-Covid do Hospital São José, 12 dos 17 leitos ofertados são utilizados (70%). Na enfermaria 05 dos 24 leitos estão ocupados (20%). Outros 11 moradores de Nova Serrana estão internados fora do município.
