NOVA ONDA DE CALOR DEVERÁ ATINGIR REGIÕES DO BRASIL A PARTIR DE AMANHÃ

A estação mais quente, o verão, ainda nem chegou e as temperaturas voltarão a subir em áreas de 15 estados, mais o Distrito Federal, a partir de meio da quinta-feira (14) até 19h de domingo (17). O Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet), vinculado ao Ministério da Agricultura e Pecuária, publicou, na manhã desta terça-feira (12), o aviso laranja de perigo devido à nona onda de calor de 2023.

A cor laranja é do aviso intermediário de uma escala de riscos que varia de amarelo ao vermelho. Esta sinalização indica situação meteorológica perigosa, quando as pessoas devem se manter vigilantes e informadas regularmente sobre as condições meteorológicas previstas.

 

Localidades em alerta laranja

Para ser considerada onda de calor, a temperatura máxima do dia deve registrar 5° Celsius (°C) acima da média daquela localidade, por um período de três a cinco dias.

 

De acordo com o instituto, as altas temperaturas serão verificadas nas regiões Centro-Oeste, Sudeste e Sul e parte do Norte e Nordeste.  Os estados que serão atingidos pelo intenso calor e que estão nesta zona de perigo são os da região Centro-Oeste (GO, MT, MS e DF), os três da região Sul (SC, RS, PR), da região Sudeste (MG, SP, RJ, centro e noroeste do Espírito Santo). Na região Nordeste, os alertas de calorão vão para os moradores da faixa oeste da Bahia, além do sul do Piauí e do Maranhão. Já no Norte, a onda de calor atingirá o centro-sul do Tocantins e áreas de Rondônia. As temperaturas poderão alcançar os 39° C, em algumas cidades brasileiras. A previsão do Inmet aponta que, já nesta terça-feira, a umidade relativa do ar deverá ficar em torno de 40% no Centro-Oeste e 30% no Sul do Brasil

 

Causas

A meteorologista do Inmet, Naiane Araújo, aponta um conjunto de fatores responsáveis pelo fenômeno climático caracterizado pelo aumento anormal das temperaturas por um certo período. “Nos próximos dias, a chance de chuva já começa a diminuir novamente, principalmente, a partir da quinta-feira, devido a uma massa de ar mais quente e seco, que vai quebrar esse canal de umidade, justamente nesta época do ano, quando nos aproximamos do verão, que é uma época mais quente do ano. Conforme a gente tem o céu aberto, mais ensolarado, com a ausência de nuvens e de chuva, as temperaturas disparam mesmo”.

Para a população em geral, para se proteger da insolação, o Ministério da Saúde recomenda hidratação, resfriamento e proteção do sol e calor. A pasta preparou um guia com dicas básicas sobre como lidar com as temperaturas extremas, entre elas:

 

  • beber águas e sucos com frequência, mesmo quando estiver sem sede;
  • evitar bebidas com álcool, açucaradas e os refrigerantes;
  • evitar refeições pesadas e condimentadas;
  • ingerir refeições leves, como saladas e frutas, a exemplo de melancia, melão e laranja;
  • permanecer em locais mais frescos e arejados: à sombra, com ar condicionado ou ventilador;
  • manter os ambientes úmidos com umidificadores de ar, toalhas molhadas ou baldes de água.
  • usar roupas com tecidos e modelos frescos para deixar a pele respirar;
  • tomar banhos frios ou com temperaturas mais baixas;
  • evitar mudanças bruscas de temperatura.
  • evitar se expor ao sol nos horários mais quentes, assim como não realizar atividades físicas nestes intervalos, principalmente, ao ar livre;
  • usar protetor solar, óculos escuros e chapéus.

 

Aos tutores dos animais domésticos, especialistas recomendam.

  • manter a água dos animais sempre fresca, limpa e disponível. Pedras de gelo podem ser acrescentadas ao líquido;
  • não caminhar com os animais em piso quente para não queimar as patas;
  • evitar passeios em horários de pico de temperatura;
  • não deixar os pets expostos ao sol;
  • avaliar o uso de ar condicionado no local onde o pet fica;
  • verificar os comportamentos do animal;
  • se necessário, procurar um veterinário.

Insolação

Quando o corpo não dissipa bem o calor, pode ocorrer a insolação em diferentes graus. O corpo humano dá sinais deste aumento prejudicial da temperatura e um profissional de saúde deverá ser procurado. Os níveis de insolação e seus sinais são:

  • insolação leve: muito suor e câimbras;
  • insolação moderada: fraqueza, dor de cabeça, enjoo, vômito e irritabilidade;
  • insolação grave: confusão mental; tonturas; pele quente e seca; e até perda da consciência.

Neste caso, a orientação é chamar o mais rápido possível o Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (SAMU 192). A ligação para o telefone 192 é gratuita e o serviço público funciona 24 horas por dia, todos os dias da semana.

Enquanto os socorristas não chegam, o acompanhante deve buscar um lugar fresco e poderá esfriar o corpo da pessoa com panos úmidos ou spray com água.
