O espaço representa um avanço significativo na qualidade do atendimento emergencial na instituição, proporcionando um tratamento mais adequado e seguro para pacientes em estado crítico, contando agora com 4 leitos físicos e 1 leito de estabilização, ambos equipados com respiradores e monitores.
Durante a cerimônia, o chefe do executivo, Euzebio Lago, destacou as grandes mudanças do hospital: “A sala vermelha hoje é o passo primordial para um CTI, provando o quanto o hospital foi como uma fênix ressurgindo das cinzas”.
Houve grande comoção por parte dos colaboradores da instituição quando anunciado que “Marlene Queiroz dos Santos”, técnica de enfermagem que morreu servindo ao hospital em julho deste ano, daria nome a nova sala.
A SALA VERMELHA
A sala vermelha é um local de atendimento emergencial em hospitais, destinado a pacientes em estado crítico que necessitam de cuidados intensivos e vigilância. O local é equipado com equipamentos como monitores cardíacos, desfibriladores, ventiladores mecânicos, bombas de infusão e instrumental para procedimentos de emergência.
Em caso de emergências médicas, acione o Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência — SAMU 192.
