Estão abertas as inscrições, até o dia 29 de agosto, para o cadastramento para benefício auxílio financeiro para estudantes universitários residentes no município. O benefício visa custear parcialmente o transporte de alunos regularmente matriculados e frequentes em instituições de ensino superior nas cidades de Itaúna, Divinópolis, Pará de Minas e Bom Despacho.
O procedimento de cadastramento pode ser feito digitalmente por meio do Conecta Nova Serrana, onde consta a lista de documentos necessários e todas as instruções para a correta realização do processo.
O auxílio é instituído por meio do Decreto nº 026/2023, regulamentado pela Lei Municipal 3.115/2023. Conforme a Lei, o estudante deve residir e ter domicílio eleitoral em Nova Serrana, estar inscrito no Cadastro Único do Governo Federal (CadÚnico), possuir renda familiar de até três salários mínimos. Os valores variam de R$100,00 a R$135,00 mensais, conforme a cidade onde está localizada a instituição de ensino.
A manutenção do benefício depende da comprovação periódica de frequência mínima de 75% e aprovação em pelo menos 75% da grade curricular.
