Na última quinta (18) o Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) divulgou dados oficiais de eleitorado nos municípios brasileiros. Nova Serrana é o 42º município no estado considerando a ordem de eleitores, do maior para o menor, com 63.261 eleitores aptos nas eleições municipais de 2024. A votação acontece no dia 6 de outubro.
Nas eleições municipais de 2020, o eleitorado do município era de 55.656 eleitores. Nas eleições de 2022, o eleitorado era de 59.528.
Ainda conforme o TSE, a cidade contará com 28 locais para votação, com 189 seções, sendo 31 dessas acessíveis às pessoas com deficiência.
Superioridade feminina e jovem
Quanto ao perfil total do eleitorado, 32.497 (51%) é feminino, e 30.754 (49%) masculino. Na faixa etária, a maioria 16.718 possui entre 35 e 44 anos. Seguido de 15.995 possuindo entre 25 e 34 anos e 15.562 entre 45 e 59 anos.
Partidos e filiados
Em Nova Serrana, 3.564 eleitores são filiados a partidos políticos. Dentre os 7 maiores, o MDB conta com 531 eleitores, seguido de PT (294), PL (288) PSDB (278) PDT (264), Avante (262), União (239) e PTB (237).
