As atividades assistenciais da Associação Ebenezer em Nova Serrana receberam um importante reforço nesta segunda-feira (24): uma van de 18 lugares. O novo veículo, essencial para o transporte e a logística da entidade, foi um recurso viabilizado por meio de emenda parlamentar da deputada estadual Alê Portela (PL), a partir de uma solicitação do presidente da entidade, pastor Lúcio Santos e do vereador Heliene Santana (PL).
A entrega oficial teve a presença da deputada e secretária de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social Alê Portela, acompanhada por seu pai, o deputado federal Lincoln Portela (PL). O evento reuniu autoridades políticas locais, além de lideranças religiosas da Assembleia de Deus Missão Nova Serrana, representada pelo pastor presidente Eduardo Freitas.
