Nesta quarta-feira (29), às 17h, acontecerá a inauguração da passarela sobre a BR 262, no bairro Moreiras, em Nova Serrana. Com investimento de mais de 3 milhões de reais, a obra, que será entregue pelo governo municipal à população, busca trazer mais acessibilidade para os moradores da comunidade.
“Cuidar das pessoas é nosso lema, é nosso dever, é nossa obrigação. E é uma realização entregar mais uma obra de tão grande importância. Sabemos que não é só uma passarela, é salvar vidas, é dar mais segurança para a população tanto para os pedestres, quanto para os motoristas”, destaca o prefeito Euzebio Lago.
“Nova Serrana é uma cidade que é cortada ao meio pela BR-262; e por isso têm necessidades de obras próprias, como é o caso das passarelas de acesso aos bairros e comunidades. Nós já entregamos a de Gamas, a do Veredas e agora, mais uma, a do Moreiras”, detalha o secretário de Obras e Desenvolvimento Urbano, Hedy Wilson.
