A peça teatral Baú de Mim, que conta as memórias do escritor de contos infantis aposentado e acometido pelo Alzheimer, Abel Ventura, foi apresentada no Distrito de Boa Vista de Minas, em Nova Serrana, como parte do projeto de difusão da arte de espetáculos, o PNAB (Política Nacional Aldir Blanc de Fomento à Cultura). O espetáculo teatral tem no elenco Jonathas Wagner e Matheus Vargas. A apresentação foi gratuita e teve como palco o Centro Social da comunidade.
A peça teve sua estreia em Bom Despacho, em julho e reapresentação em agosto. Antes da Boa Vista, o espetáculo também lotou as dependências do auditório do Sindinova, no centro de Nova Serrana.

Ainda como parte do projeto aprovado pelo PNAB, o ator Jonathas Wagner, do elenco da peça Baú de Mim, promoveu no dia 3 de novembro, uma oficina de introdução ao teatro em Boa Vista de Minas. O evento, que teve a Escola Municipal José Antônio de Lacerda como palco, reuniu alunos entre 12 e 14 anos inscritos antecipadamente. A oficina, que ofereceu aos alunos da escola exercícios e jogos voltados à criação e encenação, foi dada na quadra da escola e encantou os adolescentes.
A aula de atuação e processo criativo aconteceu após a apresentação da peça Baú de Mim, no Centro Social da mesma comunidade.

O espetáculo segue agora para mais uma apresentação na cidade vizinha de Perdigão, no dia 7 de dezembro.
A peça Baú de Mim, de autoria do bom-despachense Cristiano Araújo (o Niniu), conta um momento da vida de Abel Ventura, um autor de histórias infantis aposentado, acometido pelo Alzheimer.
Durante a trama, que se passa toda dentro do quarto do escritor, Abel é visitado pelos personagens que criou, que têm com o ancião diálogos hilários, proporcionando momentos divertidos e de resgate da sua memória, comprometida pelo Alzheimer. Inclusive memórias relacionadas a seu filho, com o qual Abel está brigado.
No final, o espectador é surpreendido por uma reviravolta, que promete contagiar e emocionar a plateia.
