O Centro de Controle de Zoonoses de Nova Serrana (CCZ/NS) está promovendo uma campanha de adoção responsável de cães e gatos abrigados no local.

O CCZ tem como entre suas atribuições zelar pelo bem-estar e segurança dos animais. Isso, indiretamente, também contribui para a saúde da população, uma vez que o centro é o setor responsável pelo monitoramento de animais de rua. Alguns destes, infelizmente, foram abandonados pelos seus antigos donos. Frequentemente as pessoas procuraram o local, no entanto, concentrando mais em adoção de filhotes. Muitos cães e gatos adultos são desprezados nas escolhas.

Segurança na adoção

Segundo o veterinário e coordenador do CCZ, Emerson Evangelista, qualquer pessoa pode adotar um animalzinho abandonado. Desde que seja uma adoção responsável. Para tal, o interessado deve preencher alguns requisitos: ser maior de 18 anos, estar munido de documentos e assinar um termo de adoção. “Qualquer animal adotado já sai daqui do Centro de Zoonoses devidamente vacinado contra raiva e livre de pulgas e carrapatos; limpo, castrado e microchipado”, garante o coordenador. “A única coisa que a pessoa precisa é gostar de pet, garantir-lhe um lar, alimentação e tratá-lo com amor.”, conclui.

* Ser maior de 18 anos e assinar um termo de adoção
