PF DEFLAGRA OPERAÇÃO CONTRA MILÍCIA, LAVAGEM DE DINHEIRO E TRÁFICO DE DROGAS

A Polícia Federal deflagrou, na manhã desta terça-feira (08), a Operação After com o objetivo de desarticular organizações criminosas especializadas no tráfico de drogas, milícia armada e lavagem de dinheiro. A ação contou com apoio da Polícia Penal de Minas Gerais.
Ao todo, foram cumpridos 246 mandados, expedidos pelo Juízo da 4ª Vara Criminal da Comarca de Uberlândia, nos estados de Minas Gerais, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Tocantins e Roraima. São 110 mandados de prisão e 136 de busca e apreensão. Um dos mandados foi cumprido em Nova Serrana. A PF não repassou os detalhes da ação no município.
Em relação ao tráfico de drogas, foi possível identificar indivíduos que atuavam no fornecimento de grandes quantidades de cocaína para outros traficantes de drogas, principalmente localizados no triângulo mineiro.
Já no tocante à milícia carioca, foi identificado um grupo atuante na região da baixada fluminense, com atividade voltada à exploração do serviço clandestino de “segurança armada” para o transporte de cargas de grandes empresas, cujos parques industriais estão sediados naquela região. Tal grupo contava com a atuação de servidor público da área de segurança pública do estado do Rio de Janeiro e explorava, também, o comércio ilegal de armas de fogo (fuzis).
Os grupos criminosos citados foram identificados a partir do rastreamento das atividades de célula criminosa localizada na região do triângulo mineiro, especializada na lavagem de dinheiro para diversos criminosos localizados em várias unidades da federação. Tal célula “administrava” inúmeras contas bancárias em nome de terceiros e em nomes falsos, a fim de burlar a ação de órgãos de fiscalização.
No decorrer das apurações, a Polícia Federal descobriu que mais de R$ 1 bilhão foi movimentado no período investigado e que parte destes valores foram destinados à compra de fazendas, casas, apartamentos, embarcações e veículos de luxo. As contas bancárias utilizadas no esquema e o patrimônio identificados foram bloqueados por determinação judicial.
A presente operação foi batizada de After em virtude de ser um desdobramento da Operação Balada, deflagrada em outubro de 2021, quando foram cumpridos 236 mandados de prisão e 228 de busca e apreensão, além do sequestro milionário de bens.
