A Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG), em Pará de Minas, alerta a população da cidade e região sobre o golpe da troca de máquina de cartão de crédito e débito. Os golpes consistem na substituição da máquina de cartão de estabelecimentos, onde os criminosos passam a receber os valores dos pagamentos em suas contas até o dono do local perceber a situação. Em um único dia, o proprietário de um varejão da cidade relatou ter sofrido o prejuízo de mil reais.
De acordo com o delegado regional Carlos Henrique Gomes, a ação dos criminosos foi registrada por uma câmera de segurança do estabelecimento. “O alvo dessa vez são os comerciantes, conforme mostram as imagens. Um casal agiu como se fosse cliente e deixou uma máquina igual às utilizadas pelo comércio junto ao caixa para que esta fosse utilizada e os valores creditados em uma conta bancária”, explica.
A Polícia Civil instaurou um procedimento para investigar o caso e busca a identificação dos suspeitos.

A PCMG orienta que os estabelecimentos adotem medidas a fim de dificultar a atuação dos criminosos, como a checagem diária da de pagamentos creditados em nome da empresa e a conferência do nome do estabelecimento na emissão do comprovante emitido pela máquina.
