O Ministério da Educação (MEC) ampliou para 17 de setembro o prazo limite para o preenchimento das vagas no Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies), para o segundo semestre de 2021, por candidatos pré-selecionados na lista de espera do programa. Esse prazo terminaria nesta terça-feira (31).
A relação dos candidatos pré-selecionados em chamada única foi divulgada em 4 de agosto no site http://portalfies.mec.gov.br/ e o prazo para a complementação das informações terminou em 6 de agosto. A seleção assegura apenas a expectativa de direito à vaga, já a contratação do financiamento está sujeita às demais regras e procedimentos de formalização do contrato.
Aqueles que não entraram na pré-seleção foram automaticamente incluídos em lista de espera, de acordo com a ordem de classificação. Considerando que não existe novo ranqueamento, após a publicação do resultado da chamada única, os participantes da lista de espera devem, obrigatoriamente, acompanhar sua eventual pré-seleção e complementar sua inscrição, na página do Fies, no prazo de três dias úteis. Caso contrário, a vaga passa para o próximo candidato da lista.
Em 2021, o Fies vai oferecer 93 mil vagas. Nesta seleção do segundo semestre, estão disponíveis 69 mil vagas distribuídas em 23.320 cursos de 1.324 instituições privadas de ensino superior. De acordo com o MEC, com a ampliação do prazo para convocação da lista de espera, todas as vagas poderão ser preenchidas já nesta etapa do Fies, não sendo necessária a realização do processo para ocupação de vagas remanescentes, que são aquelas eventualmente não preenchidas.
– Procedimentos
Após a complementação das informações, o pré-selecionado tem até cinco dias para apresentar a documentação na instituição para a qual foi pré-selecionado. Cada instituição de ensino superior tem uma Comissão Permanente de Supervisão e Acompanhamento (CPSA), responsável pelo recebimento e análise da documentação exigida para a emissão do Documento de Regularidade de Inscrição (DRI), que é necessário para formalizar a contratação do financiamento.
O estudante tem até dez dias, contados a partir do terceiro dia útil imediatamente subsequente ao da emissão do DRI, para entregar a documentação exigida para fins de contratação. A validação dessas informações é feita na agência da Caixa Econômica Federal, indicada pelo estudante no ato da complementação da inscrição do Fies.
